My name is Sarah Patterson, and I am passionate about the art of advertising. I’ve primarily worked in management roles at various agencies in both the UK (where I am from) and the US, successfully mentoring large teams of producers. I’ve also worked on the production company side, and (being married to a director) I possess deep empathy and a comprehensive understanding of the realities within production.
I dedicate significant time to researching and discovering new, talented directors and vendors, and have maintained strong relationships with industry professionals around the world. I enjoy the collaborative process, I’m great at solving problems and thrive on demanding projects.
While my background is primarily in broadcast production, I have a keen interest in emerging technologies. Throughout my career, I have overseen projects across various platforms, including projection mapping, drone-based 360 filming, interactive media, live events, social media campaigns, print advertising, and most recently working with NFTs on a project for Kia cars.
In 2014, I created an interview series called Tea with Sarah, where I conducted intimate interviews with iconic film, TV and commercial directors, celebrating their creativity and craftsmanship.
I am currently working as a freelance Executive Producer and recently completed two flagship launches for Samsung, involving multiple deliverables through Ogilvy. I have extensive international experience, with these recent projects taking me to Prague, Barcelona and London.
